Please note that a grandmother can get a vacation only if the child’s parents are officially employed or are studying on a full-time basis.
Until the child is 1,5 years old, the grandmother receives an allowance in the amount of 2908 rubles per month. From 1,5 to 3 – social assistance in the form of 150 rubles per month.
Even if the grandmother went on vacation, the mother is still entitled to a number of bonuses at work. So she cannot be put on night shifts, called to work on weekends, she cannot be forcibly sent on a long business trip, overtime work for her is limited. Also, such a mother may receive additional days for vacation.
To get a vacation, a grandmother needs to add all the necessary documents to the application:
- a certificate from the place of work of mom and dad or a certificate from the place of their study that they are studying full-time;
