The mushroom cap can grow up to 10 centimeters in diameter. In shape, it resembles a convex pillow; it can have a protruding and sharp edge. The surface layer of the skin is the color of coffee with milk, which over time can change to a brown color with a pink tint. The surface of the mushroom is dry, with a slight felt coating; in overripe mushrooms, the surface is bare. False satanic mushroom has a delicate structure of flesh of a light yellow color, the base of the leg is colored reddish, and if it is cut, it begins to turn blue. The mushroom emits a sour smell. The height of the stem is 4-8 cm, the thickness is 2-6 cm, the shape is cylindrical, tapering towards the base.

The surface layer of the fungus is characterized by a yellowish color, and the lower one is carmine or purple-red. A thin mesh is visible, which is similar in color to the lower part of the leg. The tubular layer is colored greyish-yellow. Young mushrooms have small yellow pores that become larger with age and become red in color. Spore powder of olive color.

False satanic mushroom common in oak and beech forests, loves bright and warm places, calcareous soils. This is a rather rare species. It bears fruit in summer and autumn. It has a species resemblance to the boletus le Gal (and according to some sources it is).
