PSYchology

As a student, Andy Puddicombe decided to go to a Buddhist monastery to learn the art of meditation.

In an effort to find a true teacher, he changed monasteries and countries, managed to live in India, Nepal, Thailand, Burma, Russia, Poland, Australia and Scotland. As a result, Andy came to the conclusion that high monastery walls are not needed for meditation. Meditation can become a part of every person’s daily life, a healthy habit like brushing your teeth or drinking a glass of juice. Andy Puddicombe talks about his adventures in different parts of the world, along the way explaining how meditation helped him put his thoughts and feelings in order, get rid of stress and begin to consciously live every day. And most importantly, he gives simple exercises that will familiarize readers with the basics of this practice.
