Mycena hairy (hairy mycena) ata ma fa'amatalaga

Mycena hairy (Hairy mycena) is one of the largest mushrooms belonging to the Mycenae family.

The height of the hairy mycena (Hairy mycena) averages 1 cm, although in some mushrooms this value increases to 3-4 cm. The width of the cap of the hairy mycena sometimes reaches 4 mm. the entire surface of the fungus is covered with tiny hairs. Preliminary studies by mycologists show that it is with the help of these hairs that the fungus repels small animals and insects that can eat it.

Mycena hairy (Hairy mycena) was discovered by mycological researchers in Australia, near Booyong. Due to the fact that this type of mushroom has not yet been studied in full, the period of activation of its fruiting is not yet known.

Nothing is known about edibility, danger to human health and eating habits, as well as similarities with other categories of hairy mycena mushrooms.
