Na tuʻuina mai e tagata mamanu Amerika se tulaga ese lava meaʻai o le monster

Still serving the table with discreet white dishes? Take a break and look at a collection designed by The Haas Brothers for the French porcelain manufactory L’Objet. It was published in collaboration with the leading designer of the French company L’Objet Elad Iifrac and became a hit at this year’s Maison & Objet exhibition in Paris.

Plates, cutlery, containers for bulk storage, vases and candlesticks appeared in the form of mimic monsters.

Tableware is made of Limoges porcelain and decorated by hand, containers are covered with gilding or platinum, colored paint, Swarovski crystals are used for patterns.

The inspiration for this monster collection comes from Joshua Tree National Park. Black-tailed hares, bighorn sheep, snakes, coyotes and scorpions: these creatures are all found only in this part of America. And the main attraction of the park is the Skull Rock in the shape of a skull.

The Haas Brothers is the brand under which the Texas twin brothers Nikolai (Nicky) and Simon Haas operate. Their design studio is a huge hangar that employs 11 people. There, decor items, furniture, objects for advertising campaigns are born.

The brothers’ first personal exhibition took place in 2014 and thundered all over the world. It was called Cool World and featured an unconventional design by the Haas.

This is what the Haas Brothers bathtub looks like, made in 2018 from marble.

And this is the Uma Worm-an shop, it was also published in 2018, materials – bronze and natural fur.

We will remind, earlier we told what kind of dishes can be hazardous to health.
